I know it’s the last thing some of you want to do when you’re crawling up the stairs exhausted, sometimes it probably feels a bit torturous. But, there are a few good reasons why cleansing needs to be a non-negotiable part of your bedtime routine.
1. The world is filthy – and that dirt and pollution accumulates on your skin all day, with or without the addition of makeup. That along with the natural oils and sweat that build
2. Skin needs beauty sleep – cell renewal and repairs peak as you sleep. It’s when cells need the nutrients from skincare products the most and when your anti-ageing products have the greatest effect.
3. Unwashed skin can cause breakouts – dirty skin leads to clogged pores which in turn can be one of the causes for blackheads, spots and acne.
